Facing out towards Maenporth Cove with views over lawns and trees to the sea, this wonderfully welcoming holiday home is tucked into a beautifully peaceful woodland setting. With both a terrace and balcony for outdoor relaxation, the views cannot be missed. Decorated throughout in a soft colour palette, this cottage is perfect for families large and small.
Our holiday homes are independently assessed every year. We market 3* or higher accommodation and actively encourage continuous improvement.
Guests are asked to complete a property review shortly after they have finished their holiday. A review form is also available at reception and can be completed prior to departure.
All guest comments are sent to an independent assessor and your views are also passed on to the owner.
With reverse accommodation, 40 Lower Stables is entered at ground level into a hallway with a door leading into the large open plan living area. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need for easy holiday catering, with an open hatchway through to the dining area. Sofas are cosied with cushions and throws, and doors open out to a spacious balcony with outdoor furniture, where you can enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks while looking out towards the sea.
There is Wi-Fi and a Freeview TV with DVD player, perfect for all the family. There is a TV in the master bedroom too. There are plenty of nice touches throughout the cottage, including coordinating décor, local artwork, and plenty of books, games and DVDs available for the children.
Downstairs, three bedrooms offer plenty of sleeping accommodation. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and a door out to a seaward-facing patio – another great vantage point for relaxing and enjoying the views. Bedroom 2 has a double bed, while bedroom 3 has full size bunk beds and its own little private patio area. The family bathroom has a bath with fitted shower above. There is a hairdryer in this property also.
Outside, there is a table and chairs on the patio, and another set on the balcony.
Full electric heating is available throughout the year, providing wonderfully snug accommodation.
Regrettably, guests are not permitted to bring dogs or pets of any kind to the property or site. However, owners are allowed to do so.
A cot and a highchair are both available in this property. Please note a mattress and bed linen are not provided for the travel cot.
