One of the world’s most stunning open-air theatres has plenty on show in July:

- 100: Unearth                                                                                        3rd July – 22nd July

A gripping and chilling outdoor promenade performance, at the Lost Gardens of Heligan near Mevagissey. 100: Unearth looks at the devastation and aftermath of the first world war. Tuesdays through to Saturdays the show starts at 7.30pm. On Sundays it’s a 6.30pm start time.

  

- Merlin Family Fun Run at Trelissick                                                                   8th July

Starting at the National Trust Treslissick House, this is an off-road run around private parkland where you’ll enjoy some fantastic views of the stunning River Fal. The event is open to anyone who wishes to Walk, Jog or Run 1.5km or 3km and fancy dress is encouraged!

  

- Rock Oyster Festival                                                                    6th July - 7th July

North Cornwall’s favourite festival is located at Roskear Farm, near Wadebridge. Set on the famous Camel trail, Rock Oyster is easily accessible by cycle and to encourage this eco-friendly transport the organisers will donate £1 for every bike ridden to the event. Amusements include a variety of music and entertainment acts and of course scrumptious locally sourced seafood!

 

- Tropical Pressure Festival                                                               13th July – 15th July

An exhilarating and inspiring three-day event Embracing the cultures of Latin America, Africa and the Caribbean. The Tropical Pressure festival in Porthtowan overlooks the fabulous Sea of Cornwall’s north coast, including attractions such as continental food, dance, live music and culture.

 

- Stithians Show                                                                                                        16th July

Hosted at the largest Showground between Truro and Helston, the annual Stithians agriculture show has encompassed a vast array of animal shows, equestrian demonstrations and craft and cookery competitions in the domestic marquee, as well as performances from local bands, choirs and dance acts. Not to mention the fairground too!

 

- Space Exhibition at the Eden Project                                     21st July - September

Fascinated by the wonders of Space? Then from 21st of July onwards the home of Cornwall’s iconic biomes is the place for you…

It’s an all new space adventure, where you get to be a tourist in the farthest reaches of our galaxy, and enjoy out of this world experiences. Launch into an intergalactic mission, and return a fully-fledged space explorer. Maybe you’ll have some strange tales of alien encounters to share when you’re done.

 

- Cambourne Show                                                                                    21st July

Much Like Stithians Agricultural show, Cambourne’s annual show is well known for its animal displays, craft tents/competitions and fun fairs.

 

- Port Elliot Festival                                                                             26th July – 29th July

A Celebration of musicians, writers, comedians, performers and creative minds at one the most beautiful locations in the country. Whether you’re after some poetry or some good old fashion rock & roll, Port Elliot has you covered.

 

- ZestiFAL                                                                                                27th July – 29th July

2018 Marks the 4th anniversary of the most energetic event Falmouth can offer. Inviting the whole public to get stuck in, ZestiFAL showcases a variety of activities and sports across the three days including Zumba, rowing, climbing, dance fitness, mountain biking, skateboarding, parkour and dance.
